Clark Court
The Clark Court facility was constructed using State of California bond funding known as the Rental Housing Construction Program. The twelve, two bedrooms units are designed to function as a half-way house for mentally ill tenants preparing to move into an open market situation. The units are completely furnished, and single individuals are paired with a roommate to share each unit.
The site also has its own laundry room and community room where tenants can meet with counselors and other tenants. A single family home in front of the project site serves as a mental heath facility with staffing to provide support services to the tenants.
Eligibility is for the very-low income, and tenants are selected by the Tulare County Health and Human Services department. Income eligibility is established through the Housing Authority.
